We are an outpatient laboratory seeking a full time phlebotomist to place in a family medicine practice in Providence, UT. Generally, shifts will be from Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:30pm.

Responsibilities/Skills:

Draw & prepare blood specimens for transport to laboratory. Submit online test orders and/or complete paper requisitions. Data entry of patient demographics & insurance information into laboratory portal. Organize incoming test results. Facilitate communication between physicians' office, laboratory, account manager, and billing team. Knowledgeable in the performance of procedures and use of pertinent equipment. Read and abide by all applicable laboratory department policies and procedures, both on an annual basis and on an ongoing basis for any provided updates. The phlebotomist is a key player in performance improvement activities. A high level of professionalism and customer focused behavior is required of the phlebotomist as they are the visible representatives of the laboratory.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
