Part-Time Montessori Assistant Our Journey Montessori School is looking for a kind, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Assistant to join our team! This position will work with children in both our Infant/Toddler and Early Childhood classrooms , helping support our teachers and creating a safe, nurturing environment for our students.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 1:30-5:30 PM Approximately 20 hours per week Responsibilities include: Assisting teachers with classroom activities and routines Supervising and engaging with children Helping with snacks, diapering/toileting, and other care needs Assisting with classroom cleanup and organization Supporting a calm, positive Montessori classroom environment Caring for the children in our aftercare program.

Requirements:

Must be dependable and punctual Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Able to lift up to 30 pounds Must be able to pass a background check Previous childcare experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, takes initiative, and works well as part of a team.
