In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive space where children can explore, learn, and grow through developmentally appropriate activities. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies Conduct child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and encourage active involvement in their child's learning journey Maintain accurate records of student progress, standardized testing results, and lesson plans in compliance with mandated reporting laws Support toddler care routines and provide age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional growth Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and following child welfare guidelines Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups within daycare or preschool settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies Proven classroom experience managing diverse learners with behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators Ability to design lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, standardized testing preparation, and physical activity Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching practices such as Montessori or other specialized curricula Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws applicable to early childhood educators Experience in teaching physical education or tutoring young children in core subjects such as math or reading Join us in shaping the future by nurturing curious minds today!
