About Us Hilltop Christian School is a small Christian school dedicated to providing a nurturing, faith-centered environment where young children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Our approach to learning centers on personal and interactive instruction in a play-based environment. Position Summary The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for God and others. This individual will foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff while integrating Christian principles into daily instruction and activities. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate units, lessons, and activities that support early childhood development Create a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered classroom environment Teach foundational academic skills through hands-on learning, play, and exploration Monitor and assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities Qualifications Affirm and support the school's statement of faith and model Christ-centered character that reflects Christian integrity, humility, and service Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Experience working with preschool-aged children Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small school community Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Benefits Potential medical stipend and/or retirement benefits for employees working more than 20 hours per week How to Apply Please send your cover letter, resume and references to director@hilltopchristianschool.org.
