Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Sandy KinderCare center. In this role, you will create a warm, inclusive classroom that supports each child's social, emotional, and academic growth. You'll design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons, maintain a safe and engaging environment, and build strong partnerships with families. Working alongside a collaborative team, you'll receive ongoing training, opportunities for career advancement, and support to continuously grow as an early childhood educator. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Supervise children and ensure adherence to health and safety standards Observe, document, and communicate children's progress to families Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership on curriculum and events Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Participate in professional development and ongoing training Follow center policies, licensing regulations, and state requirements Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Lesson planning Parent communication Observation and assessment Health and safety compliance Behavior guidance Record keeping Team collaboration
