Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. As a Two-Year-Old Teacher, you will implement curriculum plans, manage classroom activities, and communicate effectively with parents to support each child's unique developmental journey. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early literacy, math skills, social-emotional learning, and physical development tailored for two-year-olds. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while adhering to health and safety standards. Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and play activities with patience and consistency. Use behavior management strategies to guide positive interactions among children and address behavioral challenges constructively. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings, reports, or informal updates. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and implementing specialized programs such as special education or early intervention when needed. Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress in accordance with mandated reporting laws and standardized testing requirements. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools; experience specifically with toddlers is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles including toddler care, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Strong understanding of curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods is desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is required. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to plan engaging lessons using diverse teaching methods suitable for young learners' developmental stages. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs to support children with additional needs is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare and safety standards in childcare environments. Has or willing to obtain CDA (Child Development Associates.)
