Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and creativity. Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and developmental stages. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. First aid And CPR certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Knowledge of classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or nannying is an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Must be able to pass Background check and finger printing Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 32.0 per week
