observations •20 hours annual training required that may require 7-930 pm and a Saturday 8-230pm will explain at interview and answer any questions....new online training offered to earn a cda that is paid for and is online 1. Work with assigned group of children applying best practices. 2. Facilitate and nurture the development of each child's self-esteem, trust, and growing autonomy. 3. Respond quickly to children's different and personal needs (verbal and non-verbal cues), temperament styles, abilities, and cultures. 4. Document daily individual needs, strengths, interests, service plans, attendance, and meal counts for each child. 5. Plan and implement lesson plan activities and experiences that are developmentally appropriate. 6. Prepare the learning environment for children to learn through active exploration and interaction with adult caregivers. 7. Be willing to be background checked, cost 75 dollars depending on current rate fees. Be willing to obtain a cpr, first aid, food handlers permit, and do at least 20 hours of training yearly. Training's are usually after work from 7-930 pm and some Saturdays. The company will help get the additional certificates if needed. There are cda scholarships as well. (Possibility now to do all online) Back ground check and finger prints required the fee is around 75 dollars to do this. food handlers and cpr first aid needed but you will have time to get these.
