Position Summary:
The Preschool Aide supports the Early Childhood Education teacher in maintaining a safe, engaging, and organized preschool environment. This position helps ensure the preschool runs smoothly during operational days.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher with classroom activities and supervision of children Organize, set up, and put away classroom materials and supplies' Help with ordering and managing classroom supplies Prepare for holidays and special events Communicate with parents as needed Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment Perform other duties as assigned to support preschool operations
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Dependable and punctual Job Description Effective July 1, 2026 Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.88/Hour) Not Highly Qualified Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.88/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or ( Highly Qualified Information) Salary Schedules
