WEEKENDS.

Weekend hours typically range from 5-20 hours and may include morning and afternoon shifts. Our operating hours are 8:00 AM-7:00 PM. We're especially looking for individuals who are imaginative, outgoing, musical, artistic, and able to think outside the box when creating memorable birthday party and event experiences. Candidates who enjoy storytelling, music, sensory play, crafts, movement, and leading engaging activities for young children are highly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates are easygoing, dependable, organized, and bring positive energy to everything they do. Creativity (especially for our art room and enrichment activities), strong customer service skills, punctuality, and attention to cleanliness are highly valued, as we welcome families into our space daily. About Bluemont Local Bluemont Local is Alexandria's boutique indoor playground designed for infants, toddlers, and children up to 6 years old. We offer open play, birthday parties, enrichment classes, and parenting workshops, all in a thoughtfully designed, small-scale environment. Our mission is simple and meaningful: to help families grow, learn, and love together. We are located in Del Ray, Alexandria (Oakville area). Responsibilities - Birthday Parties Assist families with party setup, decorations, and food/beverage preparation Help transform the space from Open Play to Party mode Create elevated, joyful, and personalized party experiences Think creatively to help make celebrations feel magical and memorable Greet clients, guests, and vendors upon arrival Answer questions and help troubleshoot as needed Ensure all guests follow rules that promote safety and positive behavior Organize, CLEAN, and sanitize toys and high-touch areas multiple times during the day Responsibilities - Open Play Support front desk operations and assist parents/caregivers as needed Help children and caregivers with art projects and activities Lead story time, music time, or enrichment activities when needed Create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for play and learning Encourage creativity, imagination, and positive social interactions Help set up, organize, and clean the play space Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the facility Always ensure children's safety, even when caregivers are present

Skills & QualificationsRequired:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
