Bright Start seeks a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Create Engaging Learning Experiences:

Design and implement stimulating daily activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Nurture Young Minds:

Observe and assess children's progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.

Foster Positive Relationships:

Build strong bonds with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative community.

Guide and Mentor:

Supervise and train Teacher Assistants, providing guidance and support.

Ensure Safety and Well-being:

Prioritize children's safety and well-being, attending to their basic needs and implementing effective classroom management strategies.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification/or CDA qualified) Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare center

Skills and Abilities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor Strong organizational and time management skills Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks Basic computer skills
