Duties Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards for toddlers and Pre-K children Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety through attentive child supervision and classroom management Facilitate engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and milestones to foster strong partnerships Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare Administer first aid or pediatric first aid as needed, ensuring immediate care for minor injuries or health issues Collaborate with team members to support inclusive education practices for children with disabilities or special needs Uphold all health and safety protocols including child care standards, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development instruction, behavior management, and classroom techniques Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (Child and Pediatric First Aid) required; ongoing training encouraged Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom experience with effective classroom management skills Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work actively with children through engaging activities and supervision Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Passion for nurturing children's growth through teaching experience with toddlers and preschoolers is desired Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication shapes bright futures!
