Responsibilities Implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and STEM methods where applicable. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor skills, and early intervention techniques. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Use classroom management techniques to maintain an organized space conducive to learning and play. Assess individual student needs through observation and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively. Incorporate special education strategies when working with children requiring additional support or early intervention services. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, behavior reports, and lesson plans in compliance with educational standards. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or pre-kindergarten children is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies suitable for young learners. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Experience with daycare or private school environments is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for fostering a nurturing learning space is key.
