Exempt Summary:

Childcare providers create a safe, nurturing environment for children. Sunday mornings children's ages range from infant to 3 years of age. For special events, children's ages range from infant to 8 years old.

Essential Functions:

Holds, comforts, and plays with babies and children who are in the nursery as appropriate. Creates a safe, interactive, and engaging play space for children including setting up space at the beginning of class. Monitors and maintains the play space including cleaning surfaces, disinfecting toys, and putting away supplies and materials Communicates directly with families and Director of Lifespan Faith Development about children's experience in childcare, especially if anything out of the ordinary occurred. Upholds UUCA safety procedures and protocols. Maintain attendance records and other forms.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 3 year's experience working with infants/children. Knowledge of basic First Aid including CPR for infants/toddlers. Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
