This location just opened in September and we are growing. We are looking for Senior Infant and Toddler Teachers (and pay is reflective based on the education and experience). To be considered for a Senior-level (Lead) teacher, you must have a minimum of a CDA (and see below on other qualificaitons). This is a full time position.

Arlington County has additional requirements above what the State of Virginia has for teachers. You will need a minimum of a CDA and 1 year's experience to be considered for a Senior-Level (CDA). This position is located in Ballston, near the Ballston Metro. Essential Functions 1. Creating positive, welcoming, and nurturing environments for children and their families, including building relationships and engagement opportunities with families 2. Implementing a high quality, developmentally appropriate program that fosters community, inspires Reggio-Emilia based learning, and reflects our mission. A background in Reggio-Emilia teaching is not required. 3. Developing weekly lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines and meeting, planning and collaborating regularly with team members 4. Documenting children's learning and development and tracking their progress 5. Supporting children with daily routines such as eating, sleeping, and toileting 6. Participating in parent-teacher conferences and utilizing all tools to ensure effective ongoing communication with families 7. Participating in all required training and professional development opportunities 8. Maintaining a clean and safe learning environment in compliance with laws and regulations and maintaining records and compliance with Two Birds policies and procedures 9. Be committed to a strong attendance record (we get things happen, and we do have generous PTO); however, it's vital to the success of you and the children to be committed to a full-time role. Pay starts at $21.00 per hour Essential Requirements 1. CDA and 1 year's experience is a required Minimum
