Job Description
Compton Children's Academy is seeking highly experience Techers Join our team. Teachers applying must have a passion to teach and have knowledge of Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophy. Every teacher applying must be extremely enthusiastic and dedicated.
Please review the following requirements:
- AA or BS in early childhood education or a CDA is required
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Preschool class setting is preferred
- Plan and implement Creative Curriculum based lessons with Reggio Emilia inspiration, activities and guided play
- Administer developmental screenings such as but not limited to Children's portfolios, assessments and record keeping
- Excellent oral and written communication skills is a requirement
- Experience in providing a developmentally appropriate learning experience
- Must possess creativity when it comes to captivating a young audience
- First Aid, CPR and a TB Test are a must
