Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to support children's emotional development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Conduct assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support early intervention when needed. Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, organize activities, and maintain classroom organization. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in preschool or childcare settings is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during all activities. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Familiarity with behavior management techniques, classroom management strategies, and standardized testing methods. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math to preschool-aged children is highly desirable. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and demonstrate a commitment to child welfare and safety standards.
