Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster early childhood development, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and encouraging cooperation among children. Conduct classroom activities that support child development instruction, including hands-on learning experiences tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare and incident reports. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR certification requirements. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings is essential. Knowledge of child development principles, childhood development milestones, and classroom management techniques. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies. Familiarity with behavior management methods, classroom management best practices, and working with students with special needs. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining flexibility in daily routines. Experience teaching physical education or integrating movement activities into daily lessons is advantageous.
