KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Chester KinderCare center. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing classroom where young children can thrive. You'll plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities, support social and emotional development, and communicate closely with families. Responsibilities Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities and lessons Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily activities Maintain clean, organized, and engaging classroom environments Collaborate with center staff to support curriculum and center goals Follow state licensing and Kinder Care policies and procedures Document observations and developmental milestones Required Skills Early childhood classroom management Lesson and curriculum planning Child supervision and safety Knowledge of child development milestones Parent and family communication Record keeping and documentation Behavior guidance techniques Health, hygiene, and sanitation practices Collaboration with teaching teams Compliance with childcare licensing regulations
