Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to inspire young learners during their formative years. In this vital role, you will lead a team of early childhood educators, develop engaging curriculum plans, and create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and joy. Your expertise in toddler care, childhood development, and early education will help lay a strong foundation for each child's future success. Duties Assist Lead Teacher with classroom activities and manage daily schedules to ensure a balanced mix of play, learning, and rest tailored to toddler needs Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations while maintaining a safe and healthy environment Collaborate with specialists in special education and early intervention to support children with diverse needs Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly Requirements Valid CPR/First Aid Certification Valid TB Test (Within a year) At least 1 year of early childcare experience in a licensed facility Previous work experience with children on the spectrum Available to work weekends/holidays when needed since we are a 24 hour, 7 days a week childcare center (never close) Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting, with demonstrated classroom management skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, toddler care practices, and early childhood education standards Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies for toddlers Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and external professionals Ability to lead a team of educators with enthusiasm while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in early childhood settings Join us as an Assistant Toddler Teacher to shape the earliest stages of children's educational journeys! Pay:
$13.00 - $13.50 per hour
