Job Description

The Goddard School in Falls Church is seeking full time Lead Teachers to create meaningful experiences that will foster the curiosity and development of our young learners. Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum Advancing physical and intellectual competence by adapting program activities to meet the individual needs of the children Communicating appropriately and professionally with both parents and fellow staff members Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development Establishing positive and productive relationships with families Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork Understanding and implementing Goddard's Health & Safety procedures
Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education, or a related field (with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE); OR Current CDA; OR Current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelors degree program; OR High School diploma with experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, or school setting Strong written and verbal communication skills CPR/First Aid Certification (perferred) Falls Church, VA 22042: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
