Job Description

The Goddard School in Falls Church is seeking a full-time Lead Teachers to create meaningful experiences that will foster the curiosity and development of our young learners. If you are interested in becoming a founding teacher in our new school, as well as a role model who makes a difference in the lives of children, The Goddard School of Falls Church is the right fit for you! We are looking for teachers from infant to Pre-K who are looking to form lasting relationships with children, colleagues and families! Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment Advance children's physical and intellectual competence through creating and implementing activities in and out of the classroom Support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance Establish positive and effective family relations Ensure an effective program, responsive to children's needs Maintain professional commitment
Qualifications:
Maintaining a happy, enthusiastic and positive attitude at all times Always being a team player A minimum of High School degree Ability to relate positively with young children Must have reliable attendance and accountability Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred) Falls Church, VA 22042: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
