Four Seasons Daycare is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and motivated Lead Teacher to oversee and guide a classroom of young learners. The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, creating a safe and engaging learning environment, and supporting the growth and development of each child while mentoring assistant staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early learning standards Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment Mentor Assistant Teachers Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times Conduct and maintain classroom documentation, assessments, and daily reports Communicate professionally and effectively with families regarding children's progress Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies Foster positive behavior guidance and social-emotional development Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and materials

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, CDA, Associate's, or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field (required) Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an early childhood classroom Knowledge of child development and classroom management strategies CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements and complete required trainings
