Kingdom Kids Daycare is a Christ-centered daycare as part of a ministry of The Worship Center Church in Leesburg Virginia. Duties Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Engage children in educational activities that support childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and build strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare and incident reports. Conduct classroom assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment while adhering to health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certification. Assist Daycare director with anything needed Skills Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and classroom safety protocols. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners including toddlers, preschoolers, and children requiring additional support such as special education or early intervention services. Certification in first aid and CPR is required

Qualifications:

1. Certified in CPR & First Aid 2. Experience working with young children preferred 3. A vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ & agreement with our statement of beliefs 4. Certified training in early childhood education preferred

Pay:

$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week
