We are growing! Leesburg Happy Bees in an In-Home Daycare looking to hire an assistant with experience in childcare. Leesburg Happy Bees is a wonderful place to work. We are looking for an assistant that is passionate, caring and loves children. We believe that children learn through play in a structured environment. Activities are both teacher and child initiated. We have a bright, clean indoor classroom/playroom loaded with rotating learning activities like: manipulatives, painting, arts and crafts, books, blocks, imaginative play, limited TV time and so much more! Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (Full-Time) and 12:00pm-5:00pm (Part-Time) Responsibilities for our daycare assistants include : Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare. Help supervise children indoors and outdoors during playtime, meals, and naptime. Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among children. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure the well-being of all children. Skill desired, but not necessarily required: Previous experience working in childcare or a daycare setting. Ability to educate and engage children through creative and interactive methods. Experience in babysitting or working with preschool-aged children is a plus. Training will be available in lieu of experience. Other requirements per Virginia State Licensing regulations: Ability to complete and pass background check. Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
