Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Early Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team and lead our 3-year-old program. In this role, you will create a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and physical activity. You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, communicating effectively with parents, and ensuring compliance with all safety and educational standards. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to 3-year-olds, incorporating early literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that foster curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Monitor and document each child's developmental progress using standardized assessments and observations. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns or updates. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to preschool-aged children. Experience lesson planning that integrates literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Proven classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior in young children. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Familiarity with behavior management practices. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. First aid and CPR certification preferred; ongoing commitment to health & safety standards. Ability to plan engaging lessons using various teaching methods suited for preschool learners.
