In this vital role, you will create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where infants can explore, grow, and thrive. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with your caring nature, will help lay a strong foundation for each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development across physical, emotional, social, and cognitive domains. Provide attentive caregiving that ensures infants' safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform personalized care plans. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences, developmental progress, and any concerns. Follow all licensing regulations and center policies related to infant care, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols. Collaborate with team members to create a positive classroom atmosphere that fosters trust and curiosity among infants. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and empathy for young children. Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants. Ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members about children's needs and progress.
