Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves assisting in the daily operations of the daycare, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and care. The Daycare Assistant will work closely with educators to support children's developmental needs and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Duties Supervise and engage with children during playtime and structured activities. Assist in implementing educational programs that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Provide basic care for infants and young children, including feeding, diaper changing, and comforting. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following hygiene protocols and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Support educators in preparing materials for lessons and activities. Observe and document children's behavior and development to identify any areas needing attention. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to childcare practices. Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with early childhood education principles is advantageous. Skills in first aid and infant care are highly desirable. Experience in caregiving or nannying roles will be considered an asset. A passion for educating and nurturing young minds is essential.
