Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, configuring, and maintaining video surveillance (CCTV) systems and electronic door access control systems. This hands-on role involves working at customer sites, ensuring installations are completed to a high standard and meet client and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure video surveillance (IP and analog CCTV) systems, NVRs, cameras, and related infrastructure. Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling including for both video and access systems. Install and configure electronic access control systems including card readers, maglocks, strikes, and control panels. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot and repair system faults or malfunctions. Ensure all installations meet code, safety, and company standards. Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and installation details. Communicate professionally with clients and project managers. Provide basic training to clients on system use, if needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus. 2+ years of experience installing video surveillance and/or access control systems preferred. Basic understanding of networking Ability to use hand and power tools, ladders, and test equipment safely. Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on lifts. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of PoE switches, structured cabling, and basic networking. Knowledge of door hardware and locking mechanisms.
