Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our childcare center by providing attentive supervision, nurturing care, and engaging activities for children across various age groups. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement Assist lead teachers with classroom management and implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans Support children's developmental needs through individualized attention and encouragement Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child welfare or safety Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic first aid as needed to ensure children's comfort and well-being Skills Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Join us in nurturing the next generation!
