Our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum is designed to prepare children for school while fostering a lifelong love of learning. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Lead and Co-Lead Teacher to join our Kiddie Academy team working with our 14 month old to 24 month old classroom. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, helping them develop essential skills and a passion for education. This position is vital in supporting our mission of providing high-quality childcare and education. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with our Life Essentials curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's growth and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Manage classroom behavior and promote social skills among students. Conduct assessments to evaluate children's developmental milestones and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience at Kiddie Academy. Requirements High-school Diploma or GED required CDA, AA or BA in Elementary Education or related field, preferred Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Knowledge of childcare best practices and classroom management techniques.
