Our client is looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool in Stafford, VA. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 16-months-old as well as be comfortable with diapering. These are Direct Hire positions with the school Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment
Salary Lead Teachers:
$18.00 - $25.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
Assistant Teachers:
$16.00- $19.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Professional development assistance Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Qualifications Must be at least 18-years-old
REQUIRED LEAD TEACHER EDUCATION
CDA, Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
REQUIRED ASSISTANT TEACHER EDUCATION
High School Diploma or
GED REQUIRED LEAD TEACHER
Experience:
At least three years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility Required
ASSISTANT TEACHER
Experience :
Some childcare experience Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
