Job Description

Living Hope Child Development Center is seeking an enthusiastic Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher who would like to make an impact on students at our established Lutheran Church Preschool. The hours of operation for teachers will fall between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you love children and have a passion for teaching, then we are the right place for you! You will be a fantastic addition to our team if: You love working with children You are reliable and dependable You like to have fun while teaching What you will do: Follow the directions of the Lead Teacher Support the Lead Teacher in the academic and social-emotional growth/development of the children within your care Develop partnerships with the parents, co-workers, and administration to ensure the program and the daily activities within the classroom are consistently deployed and communicated. Support the Lead Teacher in developing both long and short-range activities by following licensing standards, curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy Maintain ongoing open communication with parents and team members through contributions to weekly newsletters, mobile apps, and in-person communication. Work as a team member to assist with additional duties as assigned by the
Director or Assistant Director Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Associates in Education or CDA preferred 1+ years teaching experience Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional demeanor and personality Practicing Christian Successful background checks
