Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth for toddlers Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain order while nurturing curiosity and positive behavior Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Incorporate child development instruction principles to support each child's unique learning style and needs Conduct assessments aligned with early intervention standards to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare Maintain up-to-date knowledge of childhood development best practices, including special education strategies when applicable Lead activities that promote physical education, fine motor skills, and social interaction among toddlers Apply behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation in young children Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings is essential Demonstrated experience developing curriculum tailored for toddler age groups Knowledge of early intervention programs and special education principles preferred Experience managing a classroom environment with effective classroom management techniques Familiarity with child welfare policies, mandated reporting laws, and health & safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification Background in preschool teaching or private school early childhood programs is advantageous Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and children effectively Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement into daily routines is a plus Proven ability to implement standardized testing methods for developmental assessment purposes Join us in shaping the foundational years of children's lives! Pay:

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
