Job Description

Shenandoah University's Child Care Center is accepting applications for Substitutes. This is a part-time non-benefited position located in Winchester, Virginia.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist director, assistant director, teachers and assistants in daily activities and classroom needs; work a flexible schedule based on staffing needs; complete book orders, dishes, laundry as needed; maintain confidentiality in all classrooms, keep upbeat attitude.
Required Skills Required Education Level and Experience:
Shall be at least 18 years of age. Shall have previous experience working with young children in a group childcare setting. Required knowledge, skills and abilities: Have effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, great thinking skills, ability to focus on multi-tasks, cope with high stress levels, maintain confidentiality, must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, have physical dexterity, and have the ability to reach arms above head. Must be willing to receive annually 16 in-service hours, CPR and First Aid, and attend staff meetings. How to
