ONE Arts Community Schools is hiring Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Early Childhood Educators across our early education programs in Chittenden County and Central Vermont. We have opportunities working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children , and we're interested in connecting with educators at a variety of experience and qualification levels. • Garden Street South Burlington, Vermont Opened in Spring 2025, Garden Street is a brand-new, purpose-built early childhood education center.

• Burlington Community School Burlington, Vermont Our Community School program provides opportunities for educators to work with young children in a creative, relationship-centered environment that reflects the ONE Arts approach to early childhood education.

What You'll Do Depending on your role and qualifications, you may: Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Vermont Early Learning Standards. Integrate art, exploration, outdoor learning, and children's interests into daily curriculum. Foster children's social-emotional growth using positive guidance and relationship-based teaching practices. Observe, assess, and document children's development while maintaining meaningful communication with families. Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and leadership to provide exceptional learning experiences for every child. Support classroom routines, transitions, meals, diapering, toileting, and other daily care responsibilities as appropriate to the age group. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Maintain compliance with Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations and ONE Arts policies. Help foster a welcoming, inclusive school culture where children, families, and educators feel valued and supported. QualificationsLead Teachers Vermont Licensed Early Childhood Educator, or eligible for licensure. Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or 21+ ECE/Elementary Education credits). Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Assistant Teachers & Early Childhood Educators Meet Vermont qualifications for an Assistant Teacher or other early childhood education position, or be actively working toward qualifications. Experience working with young children preferred. Commitment to learning and implementing developmentally appropriate practices. A positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative approach to teaching. All Candidates CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to creating an inclusive, welcoming classroom community. A genuine interest in working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
