Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and structured activities to ensure safety and well-being Assist with implementing age-appropriate educational programs focused on childhood development and early learning skills Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or welfare promptly Administer basic first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary to ensure children's health and safety Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to create inclusive activities tailored for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience managing classroom behavior and implementing behavior management strategies Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and classroom management techniques Understanding of special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) prior to employment is required Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within a childcare environment This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about nurturing young minds.
