Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive compensation starting at $4,000/month (higher starting pay based on qualifications and experience) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching Paid Time Off (PTO) Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee discounts Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching teams Beautiful, well-equipped classrooms Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends What You'll Do Plan, teach, and prepare daily lesson plans and materials that provide an optimal learning environment for young preschoolers Follow curriculum guidelines for essential learning and instructional strategies Keep the classroom safe, clean, and neat, with displays updated regularly Help prepare for and participate in campus-wide or classroom celebrations and special events Provide supervision during Before & After Care, recess, nap time, snack time, lunch, and other schedule needs throughout the day Review and stay updated on all student allergies and health information Understand and appreciate every child in the classroom — listening, comforting, encouraging, celebrating, and being silly and singing songs along the way Individualize, challenge, engage, captivate, and inspire each student Work cooperatively with staff and administration to deliver an exceptional educational program Model lifelong learning, positive self-esteem, and respect for others, while setting and maintaining high personal, professional, and instructional standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field from a 4-year college or university preferred High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of consistent teaching experience at the Young Preschool level required Current certification in CPR and First Aid required Completion of Blood Borne Pathogen Training required Negative TB test required within 2 years prior to the first day of each school year Ability to meet Washington State licensing and background check requirements through
