About This Role We are a licensed childcare center providing care for 1 month thru 12 years. We are looking for a Support Person to join our team. Shifts are Monday thru Friday 12:00pm to 6:00pm. This position is working with children of all ages from 1 month to 12 years providing fun, educational and developmentally appropriate activities in a safe and engaging environment. You must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment as well as be self-motivated and organized. Having patience and an ability to develop positive relationships with children and their families is a must. What You'll Do Duties include but are not limited to:

WAC Follow program policies and procedures Maintain good attendance and punctuality Carry out program responsibilities Assume an equal share of joint housekeeping responsibilities such as nightly shutting down the classroom, keeping classroom and children's supplies inventoried Maintain a safe and healthy environment Maintain confidentiality Requirements Be at least 18 years old Have a high school degree or GED Have the ability to pass a Washington State background check Have or receive a TB test by the first day Have or receive STARS basic training High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. Must have or get within 14 days Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Must have or get within 14 days bloodborne pathogens Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks and be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds Nice To Haves Experience with group care preferred.
