We are dedicated to providing young children with a safe, nurturing and engaging environment in which they can learn and grow. We are seeking a caring, dependable and energetic Chinese-English bilingual daycare teacher to join our team full-time. The Role The teacher will provide daily care and lead developmentally appropriate, play-based learning activities for children between 1 and 5 years old. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children throughout the day while maintaining a safe, nurturing and positive environment. Plan and lead age-appropriate bilingual activities, including story time, songs, art, movement, sensory play and interactive language games. Support daily routines such as meals, handwashing, toileting, diapering and rest time, as applicable. Guide children's behavior using patient, positive and developmentally appropriate methods. Help maintain clean, organized and sanitized childcare areas. Observe children's progress and communicate professionally with parents and the childcare provider. Follow all Joy Valley Kids LLC policies and Washington State childcare requirements. Qualifications Patient, responsible, energetic and genuinely interested in early childhood development. Able to work cooperatively in a small family-home childcare environment.

fingerprint background check and provide the required TB documentation before starting. Must hold or be willing to complete required Washington State training, including CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens and Child Care Basics. Early childhood education or childcare experience is preferred. Pay From $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
