Full-Time / Part-Time (Based on Availability) About Us Kingdom Kids Daycare is a licensed Christian in-home daycare dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where children can learn, play, and grow. We believe every child is a gift from God and strive to teach with patience, kindness, and respect while helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We are looking for a caring, dependable, and positive Childcare Assistant who has a genuine love for young children. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Assist with daily routines, including meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and nap time. Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, music, reading, and outdoor play. Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary daycare environment. Follow licensing regulations and health and safety procedures. Support positive behavior using patience, encouragement, and consistency. Communicate respectfully with parents and the daycare owner. Assist with preparing learning materials and setting up daily activities. Help children develop social, emotional, and communication skills through play and guided learning. Perform light housekeeping related to childcare, including cleaning toys, sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes used by children, and organizing learning areas. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Current Washington State background check (MERIT/DCYF) required. Completed 30-Hour Child Care Basics training. Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. Experience working with young children preferred. Reliable, punctual, patient, and dependable. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Able to lift to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day. Eligible to work in the United States.
