Closing Assistant and Classroom Support -
Early Learning Center Schedule:
2:00 PM- 5:30 PM (Part-time; additional hours available)
Education/Age Requirements:
Minimum Age, 16 yrs. old. If over 18, High School Diploma Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Closing Assistant to support the afternoon operations of our small, high-quality daycare and preschool center. This role is ideal for someone who values excellent customer service, takes initiative, and thrives in a nurturing, child-centered environment. Personal integrity, professionalism, and strong communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Help close the center each afternoon and ensure a warm, welcoming environment for children and families. Provide exceptional customer service during check-out and student and parent communications. Clean and sanitize center daily based on a cleaning schedule Support daily operations, including monitoring classroom readiness and assisting teachers as needed. Follow all licensing, health, and safety guidelines with accuracy and care. Model professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude at all times. Qualifications Minimum age of 16 years old, if over 18 (out of high school) High School Diploma Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings preferred. Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment. Commitment to high-quality care and a team-focused mindset. Must be able to perform cleaning tasks that include bending, twisting, moving and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
