Kids Foundation Academy Childcare Center and Preschool in Edmonds, WA is a family owned and operated, fully licensed childcare center and preschool caring for our neighborhood families with children ages 12 month - 6 years old. We have found success through offering lower than required ratios in every classroom and employing ECE professionals. We want our teachers to be experienced, passionate about children, have a good understanding of the WAC and be reliable & dependable and are willing to pay a competitive hourly wage. We would love to add to our KFA family team another Preschool Teacher ASAP. All applicants should have experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting as well as but not limited to: Lesson planning (circle time, small & large motor, music & movement, sensory), creating an age/developmentally appropriate curriculum, diaper changing, food service, indoor & outdoor play, engaging with the children at floor and table play, a good understanding of age appropriate activities and vocabulary, great communication (both verbally & electronically) with co-workers/management/parents, positive redirection techniques and be reliable & dependable.

Required certificates and trainings:

CPR & First Aid certified, BBP training, negative TB Test, STARS Childcare Basics 30, MERIT portable background check, and food handlers card. All our teachers work full time and we NEVER send teachers home early. All full time KFA employees can rely on a guaranteed 40 hours a week. We offer paid holidays, 2 weeks PTO time, 1 week paid winter break, 1 week paid summer break, lesson planning time and in person daily support.
