Job Overview Licensed family home childcare in Federal Way is looking for an experienced, reliable childcare professional who can work independently.

Pay:

$20/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 30-40 hours/week

Shift:

Typically 8 hours within business hours of 6am - 6pm

Start Date:

ASAP; flexible for the right candidate Responsibilities Supervise and care for multiple children of different ages Independently manage daily routines, activities, meals, diapering/toileting, naps, and outdoor play Set consistent boundaries and appropriately manage challenging behaviors Maintain a safe, clean, and organized childcare environment Follow Washington State DCYF requirements and childcare policies Communicate professionally with families and provider Requirements Professional childcare experience 18+ with high school diploma/GED Active

with completed DCYF training history Child Care Basics (CCB) completed Safe Sleep completed Cleared DCYF Portable Background Check/fingerprints Current First Aid/CPR Negative TB screening Food Worker Card Other required DCYF trainings completed Warm, patient, reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently
