Full Job Description Overview:

This opportunity is ideal for music majors seeking supplemental income, private music instructors looking to earn extra during school hours, or even stay-at-home parents with musical skills who wish to step out and make some extra money. Keiki Music partners with several Montessori schools in the Sammamish, Issaquah, and Bellevue areas to offer music and movement classes. We will be expanding to Marysville in Fall 2025 or winter 2026. We supply music teachers with curriculum guides, hands-on training as needed and concert plan support.

Job Description:

Facilitate 30-minute music and movement sessions for preschoolers aged 2.5 to 6 years. during school am hours. Each lesson should incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, and listening activities, while inspiring children to explore different musical instruments and keep them engaged. Organize and prepare all classes for a concert presentation at the end of the school year. Work in collaboration with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall sessions and concert plan. If interested there is potential opportunity to launch an after school preschool piano program in the afternoon at the contracted school site. Some Training and resources will be provided.

Job Requirement:

A passion for music and teaching young children. Teaching Experience preferred Music proficiency - Ability to sign in accurate tone (solfeggio), ability to read music notations. Proficiency with at least one musical instrument (3-5 years) (video presentation of an instrument required)
