As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your role is vital in creating a positive learning atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Manage daily classroom activities to ensure a structured yet flexible environment that encourages curiosity and independence. Implement curriculum development strategies that support childhood development milestones and cater to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention programs. Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and social-emotional learning among children. Oversee classroom management duties such as maintaining a safe environment, organizing materials, and ensuring compliance with childcare regulations. Support toddlers' care routines and facilitate age-appropriate activities that enhance motor skills, literacy education, and overall growth. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices. Background in curriculum development with expertise in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods preferred. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate classroom experience and foster active learning environments. Familiarity with behavior management techniques that support positive social interactions. Prior experience in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous; certification in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, classroom setup, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
