Job Description
The Monroe Montessori School, celebrating 48 years of serving children and families with Montessori education in Snohomish County, is seeking a lead preschool Montessori teacher ages (3-6). Our preschool faculty enjoy well equipped classrooms with small class sizes, full time teacher assistants, and inspiring Montessori curriculum for the multi-age classroom. Candidates must be able to implement an authentic Montessori curriculum, provide students with meaningful individual and whole class lessons, directly supervise their assistant teacher, be experienced in classroom management skills and possess an abiding love of children and teaching. Candidates must also excel in student record-keeping and the ability to guide student social, emotional, and academic growth. Lastly candidates must possess Montessori certification. Prior Montessori teaching experience is preferred.
