Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. In this role, you will facilitate early childhood development through structured activities, play, and education, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. Your enthusiasm for teaching and caregiving will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow confidently. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and other daily routines to ensure safety and well-being. Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and positive social interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Apply child supervision techniques that support behavior management and developmental milestones. Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly. Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures is required or highly desirable. Demonstrated classroom management skills with toddlers or infants through nurturing caregiving or teaching roles. Familiarity with child supervision best practices, behavior management strategies, and family communication protocols. Pay:
$17.25 - $19.50 per hour
