The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences. Closing Shift (non-negotiable) 9am-6pm Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all students. Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique needs and learning styles. Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with parents about their child's growth. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with special needs or disabilities. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment. First Aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Experience in toddler care is highly desirable. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
