Job Overview:

Provide on-site childcare in support of various family programs conducted by United General District 304 facilitators. Program locations will be in Skagit County.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide direct supervision of children between 6 months to 12 years old for sessions typically lasting 3-4 hours.

Provide and assist children with safe and age appropriate activities.

Prepare classroom and snacks prior to arrival of children.

Possess a calm and professional demeanor when working in a high energy environment.

Other duties that help drive our mission and abide by our organization's core values.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Current First Aid/CPR with infant endorsement

Six months professional experience working with children between 6 months to 10 years old (nanny, childcare center, preschool) preferred

Successfully pass a Washington State Patrol Background Screening (or similar agency)

Work Conditions:

General office environment, school settings and community functions.

Late afternoon/early evenings are required (usually 3-4 hours)

Required Physical Abilities:

Must be physically able to sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.

Must be able to reach, push and pull with arms and hands.

May be required to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
